Day 1 The Adventure Begins . . .

In typical "Bradley" fashion, we said our good-byes to Janet and were on the road by 11:30 AM - no early morning starts for us! One great thing we have realized, is that we are very well suited for traveling in the upper-Midwest/Canada because the sun doesn't set until almost "midnight"! We made a quick stop in Fargo at McLaughlin's RV - they discovered why the "black" and "gray" discharge switches weren't working . . . there was a short in the fuse wire. Even though they were busy, they took pity on us and fixed the problem right away. We give them 2 thumbs up! And so off we went, up to the Grand Forks, over to Rugby (Geographical Center of North America) , then up the "Old West Trail" to the International Peace Gardens. We arrived shortly after 9PM logging in 361 miles on our first day. We "self-checked in", located a nice site, grabbed our "clip-on OFF devices, and set up camp. As Scott (the dude) hooked up the RV, Allison (one of the babes) made a dandy fire. We didn't have to worry about fixing dinner because we ate a tasty meal at the Dairy Queen in Devil's Lake. After playing some cards, and watching the numerous fireflies flicker in the night sky, we battened down the hatches and tucked ourselves in for the night - tomorrow we explore the Peace Gardens and will head on to Canada.

  1. Hello Bradley Campers! A word to the wise - don't get your hoses mixed up - it could be a disaster! We are glad to see true RVers in the making. The Graham's, Aman's and Beckler's are so proud! We know there will be many stories to share and we can't wait to hear them all. We will be in Spokane on vacation when you return
so will have to wait awhile to hear about the adventure. :) LOL Charlie & Jane

  2. We are having fun following your adventure! Our only wish besides wishing you a great time is that we could be there too. Life in Lodi is way beyond control for us right now. See you soon when you are back in this country. :) LOL
